Thomas K. "Tom" Ostrom

Tom Ostrom was born on February 15, 1954, in Omaha, NE to William and Mildred Ostrom (Rasmussen). He grew up in Omaha and graduated from Cathedral High School and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He married the love of his life Denise Ostrom (Bragg) in February of 1987 and they had one son, Trent.

Tom enjoyed his careers as Outreach Pastor of Christ Community Church and Sr. Lighting Specialist of Voss Lighting where he retired in March of 2020.

It was his great joy to love and serve the Lord, growing nearer to Him, and sharing the good news of the gospel with others and leading them to faith in Christ.

Additionally, he enjoyed golfing, classic cars, watching sports, and making memories with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents William and Mildred Ostrom, as well as brothers Bill and Andre Ostrom.

Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Denise; son Trent (Rachel) of Omaha; brother David (Marcia) of Papillion; and a lifetime of loving family and friends.

We are filled with great gratitude for the many kind wishes and prayers.

We are honoring Tom’s wishes with a Private Family Memorial.
