William Junior Parsons October 15th, 1945 – January 23rd, 2014 William Junior Parsons was born on October 15th, 1945 in Checotah, OK, to William and Hazel Parsons. As a youth Bill spent his time delivering the local paper and as a Boy Scout. He graduated from Muskogee High School in 1963 and joined the Army Reserve. After his service, he worked in finance in Tulsa, OK, but then he was transferred to Burlington IA. It was in 1973 when he met the love of his life, Diane, at a Spudnut donut shop. After countless mornings and donuts, his relentless pursuit paid off and they were married in Oquawka, IL on October 3rd, 1975. Bill enjoyed life on a fishing bank, in a race car, camping with the Boy Scouts, cheering on his Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners and spending time with his kids and grandkids. As a professional either on the car lot, in finance, or selling insurance for twenty-five plus years Bill simply loved to work with people. Bill was preceded in death by parents William and Hazel Parsons. He is survived by wife of 38 years Diane Parsons and children Shari (Mike) Bible, Phillip Parsons and fiancée Amy Parker, Nick (Lindsay) Parsons and his grandchildren Jacob, Emily, Logan, Noah.
