SUCHY, Virginia Delores Ellen 1921 ~ 2017 Virginia Suchy died peacefully at the age of 95.She is survived by her daughter Carol Suchy, sister-in-law Mary Bates of Anaheim, CA, along with many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews from both the Bates and Suchy family and many good friends. The third born of seven children, she grew up, married and lived her life in Omaha.She was an avid gardener, wonderful cook (including prize winning pies), Girl Scout Leader, actress for the Grand Old Players and the Omaha Community Playhouse and seamstress for family and friends. She loved hiking, camping, traveling, reading mysteries, writing her own stories, playing games (puzzles and cards), drawing and painting and especially singing.She loved her family, friends, children and animals. Memorial Service and Celebration of life will be at Grace Central Church, 344 N. 115th St., Omaha, NE (one block south of Dodge) on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11AM-2PM.
