Tsitsi Faith Mwandiambira Harmston, age 49, of Omaha, NE, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. She was born in Mutare, Zimbabwe on December 27, 1976, to Samuel and Annie Mwandiambira of Mutare, Zimbabwe. Tsitsi is survived by her husband Paul Jared Harmston, daughter Tinashe Aria Harmston, her parents Samuel and Annie Mwandiambira, and siblings Tafadzwa and Sasha Mwandiambira, Mercy Chambata, Daisy Anesu Mwandy, Vimbai Mwandiambira, as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tsitsi was much loved by her family and friends. She was outgoing, gracious, competent in getting things done, and all around a good person. Her activities defined her character. She had great faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This faith propelled her into looking for the good in people and always trying to find optimism. Tsitsi avoided conflict if possible and had the courage of her convictions to face the trials life brings. Her greatest service was volunteering both at her church and in the community. In fact, doing service, two weeks before her death.

Her loves were, family before anything else, crocheting, shopping, and feeling both solace and inspiration from the giraffe, of which she liked replicas and pictures.

Her coworkers had this to say: "Tsitsi's leadership was never loud but unmistakably felt. Her contributions extended far beyond her many professional accomplishments. She was widely admired for her calm presence, thoughtful counsel, and unique ability to bring people together. Throughout her career, she earned the trust and respect of colleagues at every level, not only because of her expertise and judgment, but because of her humility, grace, steady confidence, and care for others.

Tsitsi's genuine kindness listened, noticed, and made people feel seen. She led with empathy, mentored generously, and was often the person colleagues turned to for guidance during both professional challenges and personal hardships. It wasn't uncommon to leave a conversation with her feeling braver, more capable, and valued. There was something special about catching her glance and receiving a side-eye or hearing her cheeky giggle that somehow soothed every moment. She led with compassion as much as intellect, and that combination made her unforgettable.

She spoke often and proudly of her family, her beloved Zimbabwe, and her fascination with giraffes, and watching her light up as she shared the makeup of her brilliance gave all of us a glimpse into the warmth, loyalty, and joy that defined her.

Tsitsi's intentional dedication, integrity, and commitment to excellence helped shape the careers and lives of many who had the privilege of working alongside her. While her accomplishments were significant and immeasurable, those who knew her best will remember her most for the way she made people feel: supported, affirmed, and respected.
Tsitsi's absence will be deeply felt by family and coworkers alike. Legacy is the love she gave, the example she set, and the people she led and inspired in her short life. Tsitsi was indeed one of a kind.
