Todd "T.J." Hatfield, November 5, 1991 ~ February 27, 2026
T.J. lived loud, loved hard, and never did anything halfway.
He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on November 5, 1991 to Todd and Sheila Hatfield. He spent his early years in Carter Lake before moving to North Omaha at 9 years old. He grew up causing mischief around the neighborhood and running around with his best friends. T.J. attended Northwest High School and went on to become an Electrician.
He was the kind of man you could hear before you saw — whether it was the sound of a motorcycle or his unmistakable laugh. T.J. had a wild spirit, the kind that chased freedom on two wheels and found peace with grease-stained hands under the hood of a car. He loved riding motorcycles — not just for the speed, but for the feeling. The same could be said for working on cars. If it had an engine, he wanted to take it apart, figure it out, and make it better. He had a gift for that — for fixing things, building things, creating something out of nothing. That creativity carried into his tattoo work and drawing. Beneath everything he was a loyal friend and he valued connection. T.J. loved hanging with his people.
T.J. was a father. His two daughters were his world. No matter how fast he lived, they were his heart. They carry forward his fire, his strength, and the fierce love he had for them. He leaves behind a legacy of freedom, grit, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He will be remembered for the way he lived — unapologetically, passionately, and on his own terms.
The road feels quieter without him, but the stories, the engines, the ink, and the love he gave will never fade.
Survived by his daughters Alayna & Nellie Hatfield and their mother Terran Brunmeier; Father Todd (Rita) Hatfield; Mother Sheila Hatfield; Grandfather Ed (Sharon) Hatfield; Brothers: Rusty (Jessica) Hatfield, Derick (Cassie) Shea-Hatfield, Shane Hatfield, Max Hatfield, Tug Hatfield, Tye Hatfield; Many other relatives and friends.
