Thomas D. Falconer
August 25, 1939 ~ July 29, 2025
Thomas Falconer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dedicated veteran, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love and service. He was married to his cherished wife, Barbara Falconer, for 61 wonderful years. Together, they created a loving family and countless memories filled with joy.
Thomas was a devoted father to his children Donald W. Falconer (Bobbi), Christine L. Falconer, and Kimberly S. Falconer. He profoundly impacted their lives, instilling values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. He was a proud grandfather to Austin, Erik(Melissa), Brittani (Vince), Teagan, Patricia, Teri (Ted), and Nicole (James), as well as a doting great-grandfather to Greyson, Sienna, Ryker, Kenzi, Kiera, Kayden, Zoe, Araceli, Rose, James, and Harper.
Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Clara Falconer, Sister-In-Law, Ruth Lathrop, Grandsons Zachary and Patrick, Thomas faced profound loss with strength and grace, cherishing the memories they created together.
A retired Sergeant Major in the United States Army, Thomas dedicated his life to his country and served with honor and distinction. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, where he continued to support fellow veterans and their families. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career, as he volunteered regularly at the VA hospital, providing support and companionship to veterans in need.
Thomas will be remembered for his unwavering love for family, his dedication to service, and his kindness to all. He leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Thomas's life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, 5:00-7:00p at Braman Mortuary, 1702 N 72nd St. Omaha, NE 68114, where family and friends are invited to share their memories and honor a life well-lived.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a graveside service on Thursday, August 7th at 11a at the Omaha National Cemetery, where Thomas will receive a well-deserved Military Honors provided by VFW Post 2503 and the Army National Guard.
Thomas Falconer will be greatly missed but never forgotten, his spirit and love will remain in our hearts forever.
