Theresa Ann Andrews

Theresa A. Andrews (Kuhfahl), March 25, 1931 ~ December 2, 2025

Theresa was the last surviving child of Fred and Elizabeth Kuhfahl. She began life as Teresa and sometime when she was in school added an H to her name. Hence at age 90 we had to go to court to get her name legally changed to Theresa! She enjoyed bicycle riding and especially participating in BRAN (Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska) where she made many wonderful friends. She enjoyed painting, reading and word search.

Preceded in death by parents, loving husband of 71 years, Herb Andrews, infant son Dana Dean, son Richard “Rick” and her twin brother Ed. Also preceding her were all her siblings: John, Bob, Matt, Fred “Buzzy”, Helen Rozmarin and Betty Andresen. Survived by children: Mike Andrews, Sandi (Ray) Weinberg, Deb (Leo) Billings, Daughter-in-law Diane Andrews, Dave (Mary C.) Andrews, Terri Andrews, Steve (Mary L.) Andrews, Jeff Andrews, Mary E. (Bob) Short and Bill Andrews.

Grandchildren: Michelle & Sean Heim, Jeff & Joannah Andrews, Carie & Shane Wilson, Jeremy Andrews, Cory & Becky Billings, Jim & Melissa Billings, Nicole Galley, Dan Billings, Matt Schulte (mom Linnea Schulte), Carlin Andrews and Megan Short (Hunter Gasper).

Great grandchildren: Austin (Tara Cannon), McKenna Heim (Tre Fairgood Jones), Kaylen Andrews (mom Nikki Moore), Callie Billings, Jaycee Billings (Fiancé Jared Robles), Dylan & Jaxson Andrews (Cayl Lantz), Layden Wilson (Hunter Phipps), Kolton & Braelyn Wilson, Abby Galley and Avery Short.

She is survived by Sister-in-law Helen Kuhfahl (wife of her twin brother), brother-in-law Charles Andrews, brother and sister-in-law Arthur “Andy” & Linda Andrews (IA). In addition to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews she has many bonus children and grandchildren.

Special friends include Fr. Carl Salanitro and his family and long-time cycling friends. Missed by her fur baby Withee.

VISITATION: Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from5-7:00pm, with a 7:00PM WAKE SERVICE, all at Braman Mortuary (72 St Chapel).

FUNERAL MASS: Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. (8200 N. 30 St.)

INTERMENT: Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
