Stephanie Crystal Houpt (Snider) was born on January 8th, 1985 in Oskaloosa, IA to Virginia (Ginnie) and Steve Snider.She passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2021 in Omaha, NE. She grew up in Oskaloosa, IA and graduated from Millard South High School class of 2004.After High School, Stephanie joined the Army Reserve and become a Combat Medic and received her LPN.She went on to complete her RN education at Metro Community College and recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with her BSN from Methodist Nursing College.Stephanie worked as a nurse at Midwest Dermatology for almost four years before leaving due to struggles with mental health and anxiety. Stephanie’s absolute favorite thing was spending time with her boys, Xavier and Christian, at the park, Children’s Museum, playing dress-up, taking them to family gatherings, and just getting them outdoors.She enjoyed RV camping (not to be confused with tent camping) with her mom and dad, and all the mischief she got into with her brothers and sisters.She was a health nut and avid runner and completed the Lincoln Marathon and Gladiator Assault Challenge four times. She is preceded in death by brother, Christopher Snider; grandparents, Wendell and Leota Verplank and Earl Snider. She is survived by her fiancé, Zachary McMahon; sons, Christian McMahon and Xavier Houpt; parents, Steve and Virginia Snider; sisters, Kay Cee Boros and Wendy Hansen (Tim); brothers Earl Snider and Sam (Kayleigh) Snider; grandmother, Dolores Snider; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
