Obituary for Shirley Jeane Landry
Shirley Jeane Landry, age 77, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedicated service to others. Shirley was born on December 2, 1948, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, to Clifford and Edith, who preceded her in death.
Shirley devoted 50 years of her life as a Certified Nurses Assistant, caring for countless individuals with kindness, patience, and dignity. Her work was more than a profession—it was a calling, and she touched many lives through her unwavering compassion.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William L. Landry, who passed away on April 13, 2006. William proudly served in the United States Marines and was the recipient of the Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice.
Shirley will be remembered for her strength, caring heart, and devotion to family and friends. She leaves behind many loved ones who will cherish her memory and the many ways she enriched their lives.
Shirley and William will be laid to rest together on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Omaha Nation Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
