Sheila McCarthy Kerins (Age 96, of Omaha, NE passed from this life into heavenly arms on June 9, 2026.)

Sheila was born on July 22, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA to Michael and Annie McCarthy adding the final member to their large Irish family. She is survived by her five sons and daughters in law, twelve grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Sheila was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert.

She will be remembered for her generous heart, quiet strength and devotion to her family. Her deep faith continues as her legacy through her sons and their families.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at at 10:00 AM, with sharing of memories at 9:00 AM, all at Calvary Cemetery and Funeral Center in Citrus (7101 Verner Ave. Citrus Heights, CA 95621). With a brief graveside service following the Mass.
