June 29, 1944 - January 8, 2026

Our beloved dad after years of declining health, lost his battle on 1/08/2026 and went to join his wife, whom he missed terribly.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Freeman Cote' and Lucille Connell, siblings Ron, Larry, Nancy and Dave and his beloved wife of 60 years, Susan. He is survived by his daughter's, Karen Derenches (John), Shelly Welch (Mike) and Terra Burroughs, grandchildren Justin Topacio (Ashley), Joshua Topacio, Aaliyah Amidon, Gary Amidon, Michael Welch (Kelly), great grandchildren Hailey Welch, Quinn Welch, Dakota Calbert and Ayden Calbert.

He was proud to serve our country in the Navy and fought in the Vietnam War.

Whether it was Two Rivers for trout or Chalco for catfish, he loved casting a couple of rods. He also enjoyed crawdadding and sharing his bounty with friends and neighbors.

He could fix just about anything and loved the challenge of building things.

He loved and spoiled any dog in his life especially with McDonald's.

Per his wishes there will be no service.
