Bob was born and raised in Lindsay, NE., where he attended school at Holy Family. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1964 and served until 1968.

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Oberhauser; sister and husband, Joan and Don Semin; brothers, John Oberhauser, Richard Oberhauser and wife, Karen; grandson, Jack Speichert.

Bob married Judy Arlt in 1970 and they have two children, son, Paul (Erin) Oberhauser and Sarah (Tim) Speichert; four grandchildren, Wyatt and Kyra Oberhauser, Jase and TJ Speichert, all of Omaha; siblings, Kathy (Ivan) Gaspers, Linda (Nels) Sorensen, Larry Oberhauser, Lois (Mike) Korth, Dodie (Alvin) Korth, Donna (Ed) Mark, Dale (Roxanne) Oberhauser; sister-in-law, Patricia Oberhauser and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, August 17 from 5-7 pm, with a Rosary at 7 pm, at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th St., Omaha, NE
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, August 18 at 10:30 am, also at Mary Our Queen
Inurnment: Omaha National Cemetery with full Military Honors
A funeral luncheon will follow the graveside service at church
