Robert “Bob” Beckmann passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at Keystone Ridge at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 20 days. He was born on August 13, 1954, to Raymond and Doris (Johnson) Beckmann, and was the second of four children.
Bob was preceded in death by his son Robbie Beckmann, his sister Beverly Case, nephew Jason Foreman, and nephew Steven Beckmann.
He is lovingly survived by his son Joe Beckmann and wife Jackie, his brother Gary Beckmann and wife Debbie, his sister Carla Beckmann, his cherished grandchildren, Rayne, Beau and Olivia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bob worked for a time as a carpenter and became known as a true jack of all trades. During his years at Builder Supply, he took on a variety of roles including cabinetry, deliveries, and whatever else needed to be done. He took great pride in working with his hands and had a natural talent for fixing and building things. In his free time, Bob enjoyed working on vehicles, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family.
Bob had a bold spirit and a love for adventure, often living life on the edge. He was especially known for his green Dodge Charger in his younger years and his playful challenge: “I’ll put $20 on the dash—if you can grab it, you can have it.”
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 16th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Legends Bar and Grill, 6910 N. 102nd Circle, Omaha, Nebraska.
Bob will be remembered for his kind nature, his sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him.
