Richard D. "Rick" Carlson

April 18, 1953 ~ November 12, 2025

Rick was a life-time resident of north Omaha & spent his working career at Methodist Hospital systems. Rick was born with serious lifetime medical challenges and faced them without complaint. Rick enjoyed bowling, playing pool, playing cards and board games & was a friend to any dog who crossed his path. Rick leaves behind a legacy of kindness & genuine concern for others and takes with him the love and admiration of those he leaves behind.

Preceded in death by parents Raymond & Dorothy; Survived by sister Linda (Dennis) Murphy; nephews: Kelly (Lori), Brandon, Christian (Maureen) Murphy; many great nieces, nephews and friends.

CELEBRATION OF RICK'S LIFE: Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025 at 5:30 PM, with VISITATION from 4-5:30 PM, all at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel). GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025 at 11:00am at Mt. Hope Cemetery
