FORTINA, Relda M. March 24, 1929 ~ May 24, 2017 Age 88 of Omaha Preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Fortina; her parents, James Edwards and Ethel Kent; and all 7 of her siblings. Survived by her daughters, Deb Fortina, and Carla Fortina of Omaha, and Tricia Fortina of Ventura, CA; son: Dave Fortina (Susan) of Omaha, and granddaughters, Desirée Phillips (Mark) of Chicago IL, and Chloe Fortina of San Francisco, CA; son: Joe Fortina (Liz) of Omaha, and granddaughters, Chaeli Souvannasoth (Anousone) of Omaha, and Anna Fortina of New York, NY; son: Chuck Fortina (Rose Marie) and grandson Tony Fortina of Omaha; as well as many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to: American Diabetes Assoc.; or Rose Blumkin Jewish Home-L.O.V.E. (Activity Funding); or the Nebraska Writers Guild. VISITATION: 5-7PM, Sunday, June 4th with a Vigil Service at 7:00PM at Braman Mortuary 72nd Street Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10:00 AM Monday, June 5th at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 Q St. Ralston, NE 68127. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
