Patricia A. Lucas

Patricia A. Lucas, age 92, passed away on July 26, 2025 at her home at Immanual Courtyard in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born November 9, 1932 to Gertrude and Marion Westhoff in Hepler, Kansas. Patty grew up on the farm and attended school in Hepler with her brothers and sisters.

She met the love of her life, Walter Roy Lucas and was married on November 14, 1949 in Walnut, KS. Patty and Roy began their life together in a mobile home which followed the construction projects of EBY Construction Company where Roy worked for years. Then they settled in Omaha to raise their 4 children. Patty had several jobs throughout her life and retired from Immanual Hospital cafeteria. She was a hard-working homemaker, a loving wife and mother and a proud grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter Fran and husband Mike Kinney, Omaha, sons, Ed Lucas, Lincoln, Nick and wife Meridee Lucas, Plattsmouth, Terry and wife Cathy Lucas, Missouri Valley, IA. and grandchildren, Chad and Jacci, Wade and Elizabeth, Brad, Kyle, Jake, Wesley, Melissa and Travis, Beau and Brianne, Darcy, and Michael, numerous great -grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a multitude of friends.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her 6 sisters and 3 brothers, daughter-in-law, Vanessa, and her husband Roy.
