Pamela Ann Ellis

Born in Mallard, IA September 18, 1944 to Leroy and Evelyn Leuer, the youngest of 5 siblings. Growing up on a farm most of her early life, Pam had an interest in moving to a bigger city for more opportunities. After graduating from Pocahontas High School in 1962 she picked up and moved to Omaha, Nebraska. She found herself working as a nanny before accepting a secretary position at Woodmen tower. During that time Pam was introduced to Ernest, whom was in the Air Force, and in 1965 they were married. Shortly after starting their family in Rhode
Island, where Ernest grew up, they moved back to Omaha where they added 3 more children. They would remain in Nebraska where they would raise all 5 children and run a successful auto repair business until retirement.
Pam was a devout Catholic and a loving woman that spent her life raising a family and managing a home. She was always there for her children. Teaching them how to bake or drive a car, gardening or how to tend to babies and raising kids. She would play cards and babysit grand babies, sew elaborate Halloween costumes, type term papers and cook the biggest Thanksgiving dinner every year. She created many memorable moments for each of her loved ones.
