P. Shannahan

SHANNAHAN, Colleen P. (Brandvold) of Omaha Graduated Edinburg High School in 1952 and then went on to graduate from Grand Forks Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She worked over 20 years as a RN. Colleen married John Shannahan on Sept. 17, 1955. She was a military wife for over 20 years (active duty) and a retired military wife for 37 more years. She was a proud mother for 53 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, John and son, Morris Shannahan of Omaha; parents, Edroy & Ann Brandvold of Edinburg, ND; broher & sister-in-law, Burvett & Gloria Brandvold of Edinburg, ND; sister, Mona Harvey of St. Paul, MN. Colleen is survived by her sister, Audrey (Lyle) Bigwood of Minneapolis, MN; brother, Elroy (Vera) Brandvold of Edinburg, ND; brother-in-law, Tom Harvey of St. Paul, MN.
