Monica passed at 96 yrs on 12-5-2025. She was born in Falls City, NE on 6/7/1929 to Frank Baker and Ida Van Benthem.
Monica married Lawrence Hixson and they had two daughters Mary and Brenda.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, daughter Mary, son-in-law Charles, grandson Kyle as well as her sisters Emma, Anna, Mary and brother Francis.
Monica is survived by her daughter Brenda, grandsons Kris (Marcy) Kody (Christine) and Kolton. She is also survived by her great grandkids Taylor, Kyarna and Rex, her brother. Father Nick Baker and sister Rose as well as her husband Meryl.
Monica has numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint Stephens the Martyr on May 20th at 10:30AM. Address at 16701 S Street Omaha, NE
