Michael Wallace Dean

Michael Wallace Dean, 80, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on September 7, 2026, after a long battle with dementia.

Michael was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was known for his laid-back personality, great sense of humor, and his love of golf, fishing, and most of all, his family. He also shared his love of music with his children and grandchildren, creating countless memories around the oldies they all loved.

He leaves behind his six children, their families, and countless family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheila, and other loved ones.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A private memorial will be held with close friends and family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Haven Hospice for the compassionate care, comfort, and support they provided to Michael and his family during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Nebraska Chapter in Michael’s memory.
