Mary K. “Kathy” Pokorski

November 23, 1947 - December 27, 2025

Kathy, 78, born in Omaha, NE to Lowell and Agnes Tedford passed away peacefully at her home in Tekamah, NE on December 27, 2025.
Kathy will be greatly remembered for her contagious smile and loving heart. She loved cooking, the outdoors, her cats and dogs, and spending time with her loved ones.

Preceded in death by her parents; son David Kaiser; sisters Kaye Casebeer, Sue Tedford; brothers Jack Tedford, Bob Tedford.
Survived by her husband of 52 years, Gerald Pokorski; son Brian (Tracy) Kaiser; dog Lakota; sister Carol Bartholet; brother Tom Tedford; grand daughter Cortney Kaiser; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Special thanks to her caregiver of many years, Mel Swenson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be to Nebraska Humane Society or Dementia Society of America.
