Martha Jane Gault January 30, 1950– October 31st, 2017 Martha was born on January 30, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio She is preceded in death by her Father, Choice LaRue Owen, Mother Grace Leola Owen, Sister Debra Birch, and brother Rickey Owen. She is survived by her husband Jerry Benton Gault and her son Aric Tyler Gault. Martha was raised in the community of Spring Hill in North East Texas. She graduated from Spring Hill High School. Martha attended Kilgore TX Community College, Santa Monica, CA Community College, University Nebraska at Omaha, and Peru State University. She received her Bachelors of Education from UNO and her Masters of Education from Peru State University. Martha's professional career was spent as a teacher for the Omaha Public School District. In her younger years, Martha enjoyed camping, hiking and other outdoor activities. In her later years she enjoyed cooking, collecting cooking books and dining at restaurants. She said that her proudest achievement in life was adopting our Korean born child.
