Mark Benson Andon, January 17, 1958 ~ November 10, 2025

Mark Andon prided himself on knowledge and exceptional work. His pursuit of a PhD in nutritional science took him across the United States and all over the world, even to the top of the Himalayas.

His patents for nutritional additives are still in use today by many major brands, and his study of calcium for prenatal and elder care - The Super Calcium Miracle - along with his work with the FDA shaped nutritional guidelines in the US and abroad.

He brought his love of nutrition to his personal life through a passion for fitness, never missing a gym day where he brought joy, jokes, and snacks to any fellow attendees. He loved to cook delicious and healthy meals with flavors inspired by his travels and play his favorite hymns on piano.

He is survived by his sisters Lisa Herrera and Sara Andon, and his son Peter Andon.
