Marie A Missell

Marie A Missell was born April 7, 1951 to Albert and Lillian (Stein) Kruger in Aberdeen, SD. She died on October 9, 2025 at home in Omaha, NE.

Marie grew up in rural South Dakota and graduated from Leola High School in 1969.

She was united in marriage to Rick Missell on December 21, 1974 in Aberdeen, SD. Her working days included but were not limited to being a church secretary in Lincoln and Blair, NE before transitioning to a proofreader at the local newspaper in Blair. Her most important role was raising her family. In her free time she loved to read, crochet and spend time with family and friends.

Grateful for having shared her life are her sons Mark (Tammie) Missell of Omaha and Kevin (Kassie) Missell of Royse City, TX; granddaughter Kylee (7), grandsons Kyle (5) and Kole (4) and her brother Al of Aberdeen & other family and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and husband Rick.
