Lynn A Bowers, Passed Away, Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the age of 74 with his family by his side.
Lynn, Son of Glen & Lisetta (Dangberg) Bowers, was born January 09, 1952 in Norfolk, Nebraska.
He was Baptized and Confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He attended Sacred Heart Grade School, Norfolk Jr/Senior High School (1970), and Northeast Tech College.
Lynn had worked at Henningson Foods while in High School and after Graduating. Then went to work at Nucor and was there for 30 years retiring in 1988.
Lynn had a Best Friend, a four-legged Buddy - his Toy Australian Sheppard, Tuco who was always by his side. He enjoyed riding horses when he lived in Missouri.
He was always an avid Husker fan, keeping up with the Football and Volleyball teams.
Lynn was married in 1975, and to this union three Children were born.
Michael, Jessica, and Melanie. The couple later divorced.
One could say Lynn was a Traveling Man, as he lived in Norfolk, Warsaw, MO, Sedalia, MO Clinton, MO, Sierra Vista, AZ, Omaha, Papillion and even California for a while.
Lynn is survived by his son Michael of Smithton, MO and his son – Nathan Auten; daughter Jessica (Judson) Schaefer of Canby, Ore and their children: Alex Elizabeth, and Maxwell
Melanie (Landon) Carda and their children: Elighric, Ayla, Addison Siblings Karen (Jack) Thompson, Norfolk, Marlene (Don) Sedlacek, Overland Park, Kan, Gail (Lyn) Bowers, Peoria, Ariz; Mother-In-Law Kay Briard of Norfolk; and numerous Nieces & Nephews.
Lynn was preceded in Death by his Parents, Glen in 1980 & Lisetta Bowers in 2005; Father-In-Law Gene Briard in 2010; siblings Jerry Bowers in 1997, Robert Bowers in 2008 and Barbara Starkel in 2017, Brother-In-Laws, Charles Leu in 1979 & Henry ”Huck” Starkel in 2020.
