**Obituary for Lynn Ann Banker**

**July 31, 1949 – July 24, 2025**

Lynn Ann Banker, a cherished resident of Omaha, Nebraska, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, just a week shy of her 76th birthday. She was surrounded by her loving family, who will forever remember her love.

Lynn is survived by her husband, David Smoot; her son, Matt Banker, and his wife, Jaque; grandchildren, Alexis (Lucas) Barry, Christian Banker, and Brooke Banker; numerous great grandchildren; step son, Paul (Donelle) Smoot; siblings, Paul Banker, Joseph Banker, and Laura Banker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Jeannine Banker, and her brother, George Banker.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lynn's life and pay their respects at a visitation on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This will take place at the Braman Mortuary (Millard Chapel) in Omaha, NE.

A graveside service to honor Lynn's life will be held at the Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, NE, on her birthday, Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00 am. It will be a time to reflect, remember, and honor Lynn’s journey and the profound impact she had on everyone around her.
