Louise Nisley Kugler Blohm, 89, died peacefully September 23, 2016 at Hospice House after a brief illness.She was born November 21, 1926 in Gothenburg, Nebraska, to the late LeRoy and Tilda D. Nisley. Louise enjoyed sharing about her happy childhood in Gothenburg, spending much time with her father on veterinary calls.She graduated from Gothenburg High School and Nebraska Wesleyan University where she was a member of Willard Sorority.She loved her life as a farm wife near Lexington where she raised her four children while being active in the Methodist Church, P.E.O. and Park View Baptist Church.Louise moved to Omaha in 2000.She was involved in Christ Community Church including a leader of the junior high youth group.She was an excellent seamstress, known for high energy, sense of humor and delicious pies.She was an avid fan of the Huskers and KC Royals.Louise was a devoted Bible student, loved and trusted the Lord and influenced many family members and friends to know Jesus. Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Bryant Nisley and is survived by husband, Gary Blohm and sister, Marian Kline of Lexington. Family was a delight in Louise’s life.She attended many of her grandchildren’s ballgames, recitals and graduations. She is survived by son John (Cyndi) Kugler of Omaha, daughter Becky Kugler of Omaha, daughter Peg (Brad) Hurrell of Charlotte, NC and son Lane (Peggy) Kugler of Eustis; nine grandchildren: Lance (Traci) Kugler of Omaha, Sara (Michael) Frazier of Brooklyn, NY, Ashley (Mark) Maselli of Lakewood, CA, Kris (Sarah) Moore of Omaha, Josh (Sonya) Hurrell of Jacksonville, FL, Preston (Tiffany) Hurrell of Charlotte, NC, Heidi (Alex) Trevisan of Charlotte, NC, Chase (Abigail) Kugler of Lexington, Bailey (Jeremy) Koch of Cozad and 17 great grandchildren.
