In Loving Memory of Lance Lemuel Bingley
March 10, 1941 – September 30, 2026
On September 30th Lance’s earthly assignment was completed, and he is now in the glorious presence of his risen Savior Jesus Christ whom he loved and served for 67 years. The motto of the Marine Corp is “Semper Fi” meaning “Always Faithful”, and this perfectly describes his sojourn here.
Lance graduated from Prairie Bible Institute in Calgary Alberta Canada in 1968. He faithfully served his Lord Jesus in preaching the word of God to believers hungry to be fed the scriptures. He pastored Believers Bible Church in Omaha for 33 years.
He was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a loyal Marine who proudly served his country from 1960 to 1964.
Lance was preceded in death by his parents Lemuel and Anna Bingley, and sisters Linda Fredrickson Neer and Carolyn Whiteside.
Left to love and miss him are, his wife of 65 years Glenda; daughters Elizabeth (Barry) Glanzer and Lynn (Joe) Braga; grandchildren Haley (Brodrick) Lothringer, Anna (Thomas) Denis, Lydia (Grant) Kelley, Sophia Braga, Sara (David) Kroft, and Joshua Braga; and all of his precious great-grandchildren Lincoln, Vera, Bonnie, Vivian, Aubrey, Silas, Mason and Sabrina.
Our gratitude for the wonderful loving care Lance received from the VA Home Health Care team, the Valley Lakes Assisted Living staff, and Suncrest Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Omaha Open Door Mission and Gideons International.
