Kenneth L. Strenger

Kenneth Lyle “Kenny" Strenger, age 68, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, after a battle with esophageal cancer.

He was born in Omaha, NE on January 18, 1958 to Betty and Theodore Strenger.In 1964, Kenny moved into BSDC, where he spent the next 47 years. In 2011, he was able to move into a Mosaic home in Omaha, he has been blessed with so many loving caregivers.

Kenny was known for his love of the color black. Every time he went shopping, he was automatically drawn to black shirts and black socks — black was simply his color. He enjoyed watching the construction workers around his home, and he loved going for car rides. Recently, Dream Weavers brought a fire truck for him to sit in and enjoy, a day that brought him great happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Strenger and Theodore Strenger. He is survived by his brother, Scott Strenger.

Celebration of Kenneth's Life will be on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:00am at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel).  Following the service, there will be a procession to Forest Lawn Memorial Park for a committal service as Kenneth will be buried next to his parents.
