Ernest “Keith” Wagner August 11, 1934 – January 23, 2018 Keith was born in Conesville, near Muscatine, Iowa to Ernest and Ruby Wagner and lived his adult life with his family in Omaha.Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Jo, sons Jeffrey P. Wagner (Deanna) and Scott A. Wagner (Cammy), grandchildren Nathan, Nikole, Reghan, Blaise, Aidan and Porter and nieces Barb Nielsen, Beth Caufield, and Ann McCarthy. Keith was a legendary liquor salesman with McKesson Wine & Spirit and United Distillers for more than 30 years.He served a Korean tour of duty in 1955 with the 24th division artillery, was a former council member and lector at Luther Memorial Church, a former member of Covert Lodge AF & AM and did degree work in the 18th degree of the Scottish Rite.He served as past president of the Breakfast Optimist Club of Omaha, and several state chairmanships of Optimist International.He was made an Admiral of the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska by J. James Exon, Governor. Gathering of family and friends at Braman Southwest Chapel on February 23rd from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to VNA or Methodist Hospice.
