Julie L. Thelen

Julie L Thelen, 57, died on September 4, 2026. Born on May 23, 1969 in Burwell, NE. Julie was known for her love of the outdoors and adventures, especially kayaking and playing in the garden. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She made people feel welcome, at home, and part of the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 3rd at noon at the Ord Fire Hall. Some of Julie's favorite food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided but feel free to BYOB if desired. Wear something comfortable and come join the celebration. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe account for donations to the Ord fire hall. We will miss her deeply, and are thankful she is at peace.
