Joseph William Hiykel of Omaha, passed away November 6, 2019.Joe was born January 27, 1934 to Fay Sr. and Marie Hiykel. Preceded in death by parents Fay and Marie Hiykel, son James Hiykel; brother, Raymond; sisters, Pauline and Alice. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Ardell Hiykel; children, Joseph (Anna) Hiykel, Jr., John Hiykel, Jeff Hiykel, Kristine (Martin) Ryan; brothers, Fay Jr. and Emil; sisters, Loretta, Kathleen, Patricia, Marie and Virginia; grandchildren, Joseph J., Melissa, Matthew, Sarah, Andrew, Kristine, Kahlil, Martin Jr.; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation, Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, from 5-7 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00PM at Braman Mortuary (72nd St. Chapel). Funeral Mass, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church (65 & Military Ave). Interment: Resurrection Cemetery
