Dougherty, Joseph R. age 73 years of Omaha, passed away July 20, 2010. Joe was a 20 year retired Air Force veteran and Vice President for Centel/Sprint. Preceded in death by: Parents, James & Maisie Dougherty, Daughter, Debra Dougherty-Newmaster, Five brothers & two sisters; Survived by: Wife Patricia Dougherty, Children Dave (Patti) Dougherty, Mark (Roni) Dougherty, Michael Dougherty & Lesley (Randy) Royal; One brother & three sisters; 10 Grandchilden & 3 Great Grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, 10:00 AM at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (16701 S St.) Visitation, Friday, 5-8:00 PM, with a Wake Service at 7:00 PM, All at the Church. Burial, Voss Mohr Cemetery, with military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force. Memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the Church.
