John W. McClain, PhD, September 13, 1947 ~ August 1, 2025

John passed peacefully into his final rest on August 1, 2025, in Omaha, NE.  He was born September 13, 1947, in New York City, NY.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vera McClain, and his daughter, Denise J McClain.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy Van Riper, his brother, Peter D McClain, his daughter Verina Vann, and his grandsons Jaden and Jevon Singleton.  

Private family remembrances will be scheduled in New York and Rhode Island.
