John was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend. Born in Hastings, NE on November 2nd 1963. He graduated from Adams Central High in 1982 and was a 1984 graduate of UNSTA. He built his life and business surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. Shortly after, he met the love of his life Amy, they welcomed 2 beautiful girls into this world together and later in life a grand daughter and a grandson. He was quite the arborist and enjoyed anything with trees. Even today he would admire precisely cut grass lines.
At an earlier age John spent a portion of his childhood enjoying the simple things in life like playing Matchbox cars and Hot Wheels with his sister Laura. Joking, laughing and always enjoying every Fourth of July. John was the proud owner of his own business of 24 years, Totalscape Landscaping where he found his passion for all things design, drawings and bringing his vision to life with the support of his family.
John was introduced to masonry thru his father Robert and spent timeless hours to read, reherse, and recite scripture. Masonry quickly became a true craft of his in following his fathers footsteps and he extended his time to give back more outside of Masonic Lodge #1 to extend to Shriner Club and Scottish Rite. Thru Masonic Lodge, John was proud to navigate to Mastership and later past mastership alongside his brother-in-law David (John’s sister-Laura).
John was truly one of a kind, he was a man of god, a loyal husband, a hardworking son, a sincere and loving younger brother, and an amazing father and husband to his family. He will be forever missed but he’s always right there with you, his laughter will echo thru hearts and rooms forever. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Amy, daughters Kristin Eloge (Greg) and their 2 children Ava and Ashton. Youngest daughter Kara Brommer, sister Laura Ramsay (David) and Mother Jane Brommer. He was preceded into death by his father Robert Brommer.
