Joanne Francis Trummer, age 93, passed away on July 28, 2026.

Joanne was born on April 27, 1933, in Peoria, Illinois, to David and Margaret Applegate. She was known for her kind and generous heart and for always caring deeply for those around her. Family was the center of her life, and she treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Trummer; her children, David Trummer, James Trummer, and Catherine Trummer; and her sister, Mary Ann.

Joanne is survived by her son, Joseph Trummer and his wife, Deanna Trummer. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Anna Warren, Katrina Kotas, Tiffany Trummer, Beverly Persing, Anthony Trummer, Dawn Darling, Rebecca Trummer Wortham, Alex Barker, Colyn Barker, Clayton Wittmayer, Apollo Parker, and Evelina Parker, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6905 Blondo Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
