Jimmy R. Walton

Jimmy R. Walton, Jr., age 62, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on June 22, 2026.

Jimmy was born on June 7, 1964, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Jimmy R. Walton, Sr. and Sharon (Soule) Walton. He spent his life in the Omaha area, where he built lasting friendships and strong family connections. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and valued the relationships he built throughout his life.

Eight years ago, Jimmy married the love of his life, Jean M. Birkel. Together they shared companionship, laughter, and many happy memories. Their marriage was built on mutual love, respect, and support.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jean M. Walton; his brother, Donald Walton and spouse Kelly; his sister, Deborah Miller and spouse Kevin; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy R. Walton, Sr. and Sharon Walton (Soule), and by his sister, Dorothy Walton.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1pm to 5pm, Sunday, July, 12, 2026 at 12736 Calhoun Rd. Omaha, NE 68152
