Jewelene Samuel

Jewell Samuel, age 86, born August 27, 1934 at Dumas, Arkansas, died October 3, 2020 at Omaha, Nebraska. Jewell Samuel was preceded in death by her father, Forrest McDonald (1967), her mother, Charlotte McDonald (2000) and her sister, Earlene Webb (2015). Jewell Samuel is survived by her life partner, Moses Devers, her son and his spouse, Hezekiah and Cindi Pittman, Jr. (Spokane, Washington) and her three (3) daughters, Carolyn J. Austin (Wichita, Kansas), Marilyn L. Boone (Omaha, Nebraska) and DeNease Slay (Dallas, Texas). Jewell Samuel was blessed with nine (9) grandchildren and nineteen (19) great grandchildren. Jewell Samuel was well known and loved by family, neighbors and friends. Everyone who knew and interacted with Jewell Samuel has been enriched and energized by her. She was a vital force. Jewell was vibrant in personality. In her personal endeavors Jewell was an avid flower gardener. Her flower gardens were always lush and beautiful, much like everything and everyone she interacted with. Helping others and being of good service to other people was Jewell’s hallmark. Jewell Samuel helped countless numbers of people in numerous ways. She opened her home often during the holidays and it was always enjoyable and refreshing that she hosted. Services Pending
