Preceded in death by mother Frances M. Hoban (Reichart), sister JoAnn Alsager; Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Jerry spent 30 years as a medical and surgical supply sale representative and was later a part owner of Braman Mortuary. He was also a 30 year member of the Boy Scouts of America, was a Past Grand Master of John J. Mercer Masonic Lodge, a 70 year member of the Methodist church, and served 2 years in the United States Army in Seoul. "If I have touched your life positively and made you a better person, I am happy and thankful that the paths of our lives crossed. If however, my touching your life had a negative impact on you and your life, it is my prayer that you have been able to put it behind you and move on to a brighter future. Thus learning a positive lesson from my negative impact. For those folks, I am deeply sorry for the pain I caused."
No visitation, Direct Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Andrews United Methodist Church and the Methodist Hospital Foundation.
