BABCOCK, Jeff A. 10/20/1955 – 1/26/2018 Jeff went to his heavenly home January 26, 2018 at the age of 62.Jeff was born in Sioux City, Iowa where he lived until he moved to Omaha in 1987. He loved music and taught himself to play several musical instruments.From the time he was a toddler he liked taking items apart and occasionally reassembling them.He had an aptitude for sound and electronics.He continued to develop his electronic skills through independent study, Western Iowa Tech, Rockford Fosgate training, Alpine Institute of Technology, and Universal Remote Control.Jeff worked for McDonald’s, Sioux City Foundry, and various electronic companies before starting his own low voltage company – 768 Sound,Inc. He was a charter member of Central Assembly of God, Sioux City, Iowa. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Victor Babcock, Patricia Babcock, brother David, sister Barbara Kisicki, grandson Samuel Babcock and niece Michelle Wirth. He is survived by his wife Dixie and son Abraham, wife (Helen) and their children MacKenzie, Catherine, and Addison of Chandler, AZ; son Jeffrey James, wife (Lindsay) and their children Zion, Ari and Judah of Omaha; and daughter Elizabeth ofOmaha.Jeff is also survived by his sister, LouAnn Laudermith and husband (Mike) of Republic, MO, Nephew Daniel Kisicki of Hastings and many other friends and relatives.
