BRENNAN, James R. “Jim” 9/2/1948 – 6/10/2016 Age 67 years of Omaha Jim will be remembered first and foremost for his love and passion of family and friends.He will also be remembered by the racing community who will miss the contributions he made through his weekly support and writing over the past 40+ years. Jim was preceded in death by father Marcus Brennan, mother Catherine Brennan, brother Patrick Brennan, Father-in-law Anton Yablonski, Nephew David Coffin; He is survived by his Wife of 29 years, Donna; Children: Karen McIntosh, Steve (Meagan) Weyant, Kimberly (Jordan) Cash; Step-Mother Phyllis Brennan; Brother Thomas (Jan) Brennan; Sister Mary Jane (Rick) Hendricks; Grandchildren: Bailey, Allison, Braedon, Lilly, Jaxson, Elena; Many nieces, nephews & cousins. Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (16701 S. St.), with closing prayers at 9:30am at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel).Visitation: Tuesday from 5-8:00pm, with a rosary at 7pm, all at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel).
