JaKela Rochelle Foster was born on September 14, 1995 to Kristina Young and James Foster in Omaha, Nebraska where she attended Wakonda Elementary School, King Science Center, and graduated from Northwest High School in 2013. In High School, she participated in such sports as Freshmen Basketball, Track & Field, and Volley Ball. JaKela had a variety of interest such as music, doing hair, and hanging out with her friends. JaKela had a smile that could light up the room wherever she went. She loved to show her beautiful smile and latest hair styles with selfies. JaKela worked as a Customer Service Representative at Dial America, where she quickly excelled and was one of the best Agents on the floor. JaKela was blessed to give birth to a beautiful baby boy, Jay’Ceon DeAnthony Foster on October 1st, 2013. JaKela’s greatest and proudest accomplishment was being the best Mother she could be for her son. She leaves to cherish her life to her 1 year old son, Jay’Ceon DeAnthony Foster, Parents: James Foster & Kristina Young (Dennis), Brothers: De’Sean Anthony Young (Tommy), James D. Foster (Shanetle), Tyron Foster (Andrea), and JaMel Le Branch (Tamisha), Sister: Shaunda Stewart, Great Grand Father: Bennie Williams Sr. (Gardenia) of Philadelphia, PA Grandmother: Barbara Ann McLemore (Gerald), Best Friends: Sazurae Williams, Candace Fields, and Robin Wesley, as well as Aunts, Uncles and a host of other close family and friends. She is preceded in death by Grandparents: Oceola & Frank Foster, Sr. Great Grandmother: Lillie Mae Williams. Celebration of JaKela’s Life: Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Kingdom Builders Christian Center (4039 Charles St.). Visitation: Thursday, 4-8:00 PM at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel).
