REIMERS, Gary E. 9/18/1936 – 9/1/2016 Of Burleson, TX, formerly of Omaha Gary was a Industrial Engineer with Western Electric/AT&T for 37 years.He was a longtime member of the Shriners and Millard Lions Club. Gary was a past president of the Lions Club and was awarded the Prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow Award.He was a tireless volunteer in the Millard Community, serving in many areas which included Fire & Rescue, Airport Authority and many more. Gary was 4 time letter winner at the University of Nebraska in both Basketball and Baseball.He was inducted into the University of Nebraska Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996.
