Gary D. Lundeen

LUNDEEN, Gary D. 9/20/1944 – 11/20/2016 Gary was born and raised in the Missouri Valley area. He graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1963 and Buena Vista College in 1967 with a degree in Education. He was in the US Army during Vietnam and after was a long time educator and tennis coach for Omaha Burke High School. Gary was a member of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church where he volunteered in the Food Pantry for many years. He was an avid member of Lauritzen Gardens and served as the Library Volunteer Coordinator. Preceded in death by parents William and Lenora; Partner of over 30 years Ron Thrash Survived by sister Regina (Tom) Duffy; Aunts Betty (Don) Lundergard, Carolyn (Jerry) Krajeski, Delores (Virgil) Klever; Many other relatives and friends.
