Floyd Henry Hinze

January 18, 1928 — January 28, 2014

Born to Herman and Amanda in Barron, Wisconsin Preceded in death by parents; son, Robert; sisters, Alva Fankhauser & Arlene Nelson; brothers, LaVerne, Vernon & Russell. Survived by wife, Leona of 66 years; daughters, Maureen (Danny) Love & Maxine (Ken) Rogers; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Floyd was born, raised, and lived on a farm in Barron, Wisconsin for 29 years. He worked at Inland Steel in Gary, Indiana for 7 years while doing carpentry on the side. He then became a full time carpenter in the Chicago area and then in California. He and Leona retired in Pueblo, Colorado in 1991 and then settled in Omaha in 2006. Memorials should be directed to the church. Celebration of Life Service, Tuesday, 11:00 A.M., Gretna Community Church, 321 South Highway 6, Gretna, NE. Memorial Visitation with the family Monday, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Braman Mortuary, 6505 South 144th Street, Omaha, NE.
