He who has the Son has life…… I write these things to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life." She is grateful that the Lord has taken her into His fold and she will spend eternity with Him. On November 7th, 1981 she married Loren Thorson. He was a family friend from years back. Eleanor was best friends with his sister. They attended the same church at that time. Some of her interests besides her family and church are music, organ playing, she sang in the choir for many years. She played Skipbo with her Skipbo buddies for many years. She enjoyed crafts, Crocheting (She decorated over 300 pillow cases to be used as tote bags for children at the Open Door Mission) she especially enjoyed the stamp ministry. She was involved with it for over 20 years going to church on Fridays to tear stamps and working at home trimming the stamps. She enjoyed gardening, and she mowed her own lawn until she was 86 years old. She enjoyed reading and crosswords puzzles. She had a collection of butterflies, and she loved the butterflies as she said they were a symbol of the new life she had in Christ.
