Eleanor Pollock, 93, of Omaha, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. A private family gathering will be held in Omaha at a later date. A burial will take place at Ewing Cemetery in Ewing, Nebraska. Eleanor Pollock, daughter of Allen and Anna (Anderson) Pollock, was born May 31, 1927, near Ewing. Her family to Gordon when she was an infant and they returned to Ewing two years later. She attended school in Holt County and graduated from Ewing High School in 1945. Following graduation, Eleanor moved to Omaha and worked as a secretary for Westinghouse. In 1947, Eleanor moved to Neligh and worked at the PMA office the next four years. She returned to Omaha, in 1951, and was hired to work in the Traffic Dept office of West Central Grain Co. She enjoyed her work at the grain elevator until her retirement. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. She is survived by 5 nieces & 3 nephews.
