Dwight K. Stenzel

Dwight K. Stenzel, 80 years old, of Omaha Nebraska passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Dwight was born on August 10, 1946 in Fremont, Nebraska to Leo and Wanda (Pafford) Stenzel. He was a graduate of the Class of 1964 at North High School. After his graduation he joined the U.S. Army where he served his country for 4 years. When he returned home he was led to begin his long career in the medical field.

His free time was spent enjoying family, connecting with his many long-time friends and collecting records and all kinds of memorabilia.

Dwight is survived by his sister Nancy (Tom) Dokulil, Inver Grove Heights, MN, his brother Richard (Betty) Stenzel, Frederick, CO, sister-in-laws Lis Stenzel, Amber Stenzel and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dennis and Dean and nephews Matt and Rob.

Dwight's request was to be cremated and his ashes interred at Omaha National Cemetery.

In accordance with Dwight's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
