Doris (Clanton) Witecki, 79, lost her battle with cancer on June 17, 2023 surrounded by her family. Doris was born and raised in Omaha and was a graduate of Omaha Tech High. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Witecki, and they were married just shy of 50 years before he passed away from cancer in 2015. Words could never describe how beautiful of a person Doris was, inside and out. She put people at ease as soon as she met them. It was magical how people would light up when they were in her company. She was very active in her church, with book club and dinner club and loved spending time with her family, friends and her companion Jack Bellus. She had unconditional love for her family and would drop everything to help any of us anytime, no questions asked. She was admired for the love she showed those around her, the support she gave to her family, her compassion, her love of life and work ethic. The world is truly a better place because she was in it. We know she was welcomed into heaven with open arms.
