Donna Lou Crouse

Donna Lou Crouse, age 81, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, January 5, 2026.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Donna lived most of her life in Omaha, where she built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She was a good and faithful servant of God and remained strong in her faith throughout her life.

Donna will be lovingly remembered for her wisdom, her laughter, and the love she shared with those around her. She was known for being strict about manners, yet always kind-hearted. She deeply loved all of her children and took great pride in her family.

She enjoyed shopping, a bag of Vic’s popcorn, and tending to her rose garden. Donna was an amazing Stephen’s Minister and a devoted, active member of Morning Star Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served and cared for others.

One of her greatest joys was her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness and were a constant source of pride.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. "Bob" Crouse, her parents, Loyd and Alice Prusia; her sons, Dean and Christian; and her siblings, Ida, Alice, Norma, Charlotte, Joanna, and Robert.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Cyndi), Marc, Terry, Jeff (Nolan), and Jay; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Morning Star Lutheran Church, 331 S. 85th Ave., Omaha, Nebraska.

Donna will be deeply missed, and her faith and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
